Christmas Creations

Working with local artist Molly Bland at Lancaster Brewery where we both led creative workshops at their two day Christmas event.

I decided to create designs pre-cut into lino. This meant that customers were able to print their own Christmas creation without fuss. They had the option to print bookmarks, Christmas decorations or cards.

Printmaking is such a wonderful technique, with instant results that often amaze young people. Lancaster Brewery ensured that this event was free to their audience - an incredible idea that encouraged all to be creative!

It was a joy seeing the excitement of families as they worked together in trying something new. Considering the range of ages I’m surprised to say there were no major ink disasters.

What a fabulous way to get into the Christmas spirit (cold hands and all!)
